EMMA LEUSCHEN

English Language ArtsTeacher

I am a graduate of Rutgers Universtiy, where I received my Master's in Education and Bachelor's in English. I am also a certified teacher of the Gifted and Digital Tools.

I pride myself on creating a classroom community where students learn to take risks, challenge themselves, and fail forward. I am a writer, a country music lover, and a dedicated community volunteer. I serve as the middle school Student Council Advisor, and I am passionate about teaching students to be active members of their community.

In my free time, I enjoy being outside as often as possible, watching the Dallas Cowboys (potentially) kick butt, and running with my black lab, Vera. You can often find me cheering on the Bulldogs at a sporting event (:
